We are inspired by strong, distinctive and original stories across all genres. Our slate of films, dramas and documentaries includes collaborations with established and new talent. Set up as a UK-Greece co-production, the thriller BLINDSIDE was created by the BAFTA-winning screenwriter, Debbie Moon (WOLFBLOOD). This will be shot on location in Wales and Greece and directed by Jermain Julien (WOLFBLOOD, VERA).
Freestyle is the first UK romance set in the world of basketball. It was released in UK cinemas before being shown on BBC television and SKY. FREESTYLE went on to be distributed around the world and was seen by audiences in Africa, Australia, France, New Zealand, North America and the Middle East.
B19 Media has supported new and emerging writers and writer/directors to develop their craft by producing six shorts. The films have played in competition at a range of key festival including Aesthetica, Encounters, and the London Short Film Festival. They are: LONDON TOMORROW by Nimer Rashed (BFI/Virgin Media), ESCAPE and THE CALLING by Michael Adeyeye and SUIT AND BONE by Dulani Wilson. SWEETHEART and DEAR ALBION by Jack Taylor-Cox were supported by The BFI Network and Creative England.
