They are the BFI/Virgin Media Short, LONDON TOMORROW by Nimer Rashed, SWEETHEART and DEAR ALBION by Jack Taylor Cox and ESCAPE and THE CALLING by Michael Adeyeye and SUIT AND BONE by Dulani Wilson.
The films have played in competition at a range of key festivals including Aesthetica, Encounters and the London Short Film Festival. They feature the work of outstanding cast and crew including the award-winning director of photography, Stil Williams and the casting director, Isabella Odoffin.FREESTYLE made history as the first British movie set in the world of basketball. It was released in UK cinemas before being shown on BBC television and Sky. FREESTYLE was distributed internationally and reached audiences in France, Australia and New Zealand, Africa, the Middle East and North America.
With the support of the BFI Network and private backing, B19 has produced six shorts by new, and emerging writer/directors.
